Welcome to the UF CaRE2 Health Equity Center

Dr. Odeidna and Dr. Wilkie Headshot

This Center brings together unique expertise and resources from UF, FAMU, and USC in synergistic partnership to
advance science that improves cancer health equity among Blacks and Latinos in Florida and
California. The diverse investigative team focuses on generating, translating and
disseminating knowledge to reduce cancer disparities among bicoastal subpopulations of Blacks and
Latinos. Through its rich research milieu, the Center will train underrepresented minority students
and scientists and engage communities to provide insights for best serving the needs of diverse
populations and helping to reduce the burden of cancer.

We look forward to partnering with you to reduce cancer disparities nationally and globally.
